Join us for a day of community service and environmental stewardship as we give back to Knoxville Botanical Gardens & Arboretum! In appreciation for KBGA's generosity in providing us with a free seminar space, we will remove invasive plants outside the historic Carriage House. Wild Ones will have staff on hand to assist in identifying invasive plants.
What to Expect:
We will be focusing on the removal of invasive plant species to help preserve the natural beauty and health of the gardens. This is a “rain or shine” event, unless there are severe storms predicted (if so, we will notify you.)
This is a wonderful opportunity to:
learn to identify invasive plant speciesconnect with like-minded community memberscontribute to the upkeep of a cherished local landmark.
Dress: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
Refreshments: Wild Ones will provide sustenance to keep our volunteers energized and hydrated throughout the event. We'll have pizza from Baker Boys once we finish, just after noon! Please register so we know how many people to feed!

We look forward to seeing you and working together to support Knoxville Botanical Gardens & Arboretum!
