Join Appalachia Flora and Wild Ones for an engaging discussion on plant ecology and plant-animal interactions! 

On Saturday, May 3, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Dr. Amanda Benoit—co-owner of Appalachia Flora and Teaching Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee will share insights into her favorite native plants and how they interact with animals to form complex ecological communities. The event will include a Q&A session and open discussion, providing a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of plant ecology and connect with fellow native plant enthusiasts. Wild Ones members and the general public are welcome! Information about Wild Ones' mission and membership will be available. Whether you're new to native plant gardening or a seasoned expert, this event is a fantastic way to expand your knowledge and meet like-minded individuals. A selection of native plants will be available for purchase. We hope to see you there! Where: Appalachia Flora Native Plant Nursery, 8301 Coppock Road, Corryton, Tennessee 37721 When: The plant nursery will be open from 11am- 3pm; the discussion will start at 11am and end around 12:30 pm.
